Namibia has become the benchmark for plains game hunting throughout Africa in its own right. It is the safest country on the African continent, the people of the country are friendly, honest and kind to the visitor and they go out of their way for the well-being of the traveler. Namibia has all the advantages of a developed country and at the same time preserves the wonders of Africa. Hunting remains uncertain… kudus, warthogs, oryx, hartebeest, zebras, cheetahs, caracals, and many other animals live in complete freedom, while an endless list of plains game can be found on the large private properties.
But Namibia is not just hunting. Namibia hides countless natural and cultural wonders, which have made it a world-class tourist destination. We will be happy to organize your hunting safari combined with the best sighseeing and activities for the hunters and companions: a safari in the Etosha National Park, the Skeleton Coast, a visit to the bushmen, or stroll through the famous red dunes of the Namib desert in Sossusvlei.
Hunting in Namibia is wild and authentic, combining the uncertainty of hunting on our 95,000 open range acres with the security of being able to find the more than 20 species that inhabit our 5,000 private ranch. Our professional hunters, assisted by their team of trackers, will help you to achieve that great 55-inch kudu, a completely wild oryx, to enjoy a day after the warthogs, or tracking the elusive cheetah.

Hunting season
All year round, being the best dates from April to October, to avoid the rainy season.
Location
Our company has more than 100,000 hectares distributed in various areas of the country, but the main lodge is located in Gobabis, less than two-hours drive from Windhoek International Airport. Our representative will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the camp in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
Trip plan
Depending on the days you go hunting, we will adapt the trip to each hunter, but for a classic seven-day hunting safari, the plan would be as follows:
Day 1: Flight to Windhoek.
Day 2: arrival in Namibia, reception and transfer of hunters to the lodge. Rifle test, hunt in the afternoon if there is time.
Days 3 to 7: Hunting.
Day 8: Transfer to Windhoek airport, check-in assistance, end of services.
Lodging
Neuhof safaris offers a totally personalized experience. At the camp you will enjoy African-style accommodation, with three double and one family lodges for four people, all air-conditioned. We will take the breakfast and dinner in the open dining room, next to the pool, while we contemplate the eland, the wildebeest and a warthog who come looking for water in the ponds located in front of the camp. At Neuhof Safaris, we take care to the smallest detail: from your personalized reception at the airport until your return, through the welcome aperitif after a long day of hunting. The African bar is permanently available in the dining room. This is where a cold beer or a glass of wine is shared next to the campfire, discussing the sets of the day. And of course, the famous braai, the Afrikaans barbecue, to end the day with a delicious dinner and a good wine. The daily rate includes all drinks, beer, selected wines, juices, coffees, tea and a select assortment of spirits.
